First Connection

Connect your Wireless VirtuaTilt to your PC using the supplied USB cable.

Plug the USB cable into a USB 2.0 port (or USB 3.0 in compatibility mode) directly on your PC motherboard. Avoid front-panel USB hubs and front-of-case ports during initial setup.
You should hear the standard Windows USB-connected sound.
Open GUIConfigTool — you should see your VirtuaTilt detected automatically on the Overview tab.

Both Build IDs (Pico and ESP32) shown on the Overview tab should match the value printed in the redist folder's HASHES.txt under "Pico Build ID" / "ESP32 Build ID". If they match, you are on the correct firmware. If they do not match, follow Appendix A to update.
