First Connection

Connect your Wireless VirtuaTilt to your PC using the supplied USB cable.

Plug the USB cable into a USB 2.0 port (or USB 3.0 in compatibility mode) directly on your PC motherboard. Avoid front-panel USB hubs and front-of-case ports during initial setup.
You should hear the standard Windows USB-connected sound.
Open GUIConfigTool — you should see your VirtuaTilt detected automatically on the Overview tab.

On the Overview tab, look at the Firmware status line of the Pico and of the ESP32 module. Firmware status: up to date means the cabinet runs the firmware of the package your GUIConfigTool came from. Any other status means the cabinet runs a different firmware: follow Appendix A to update both chips.

NOTE: Always use the GUIConfigTool from the same package as the firmware you install — that is what the status line compares against.
