Wireless Plug & Play (no DOF / DOFLinx required)

One of the main features of Wireless VirtuaTilt is that it works without DOF / DOFLinx configuration in many scenarios. You get feedback from solenoids, shaker motor, analog plunger, and accelerometer nudging out of the box. Just load a profile and play.

For PC gameplay this works through the STEAM-XInput BT profile (Xbox Wireless Controller identity over Bluetooth) — Steam recognizes it natively as a controller, and games like Pinball FX, FX3, Pinball M, Infected Mushroom Pinball, and many others speak XInput natively.

NOTE: The Xbox driver registration described in the "Xbox Drivers Installation" chapter is also required for full XInput compatibility on Windows. Do that one-time procedure once and you are set.

Plug & play gives you a SUBSET of the feedbacks, not the full VirtuaTilt potential feedbacks. Over Bluetooth (and any no-DOF profile) you get the flipper solenoids plus the shaker motor whenever the game sends an XInput rumble packet. The third solenoid — the bumpers/slingshots — and true per-event control of every output require a DOF / DOFLinx pipeline, which runs over USB only (Wired VirtuaTilt, or Wireless VirtuaTilt in USB mode). See the Feedback Devices by Profile chapter for the full breakdown.
