Switching Between Games / Profiles

Whenever you want to switch between games that use different profiles (for example from Star Wars Pinball VR on Quest to VPX on PC), do this:

• Plug the cabinet back into your PC via USB.
• Open GUIConfigTool. To change the default profile, import the new one from /profiles-BT/ or /profiles-USB/ (Configuration tab → File → Import from File) and click "Program Pico"; to switch between the button-mapped profiles, just hold the matching button at boot (assigned in the Profiles tab — see the Loading a Profile chapter).
• On the host device (Quest or PC), forget the previous pairing and pair fresh as described in the matching chapter above.

The cabinet will reflect the new profile within a few seconds: the Bluetooth advertised name changes and the cabinet starts behaving as the new profile defines. (The LED stays off unless you hold down a programmed button at boot to load it — see the Profile-Identity LED chapter.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: The host device pairing must be redone with every profile change because the Bluetooth HID identity (device name, descriptor type) changes between profiles. This is normal and expected — it is the same reason a single Bluetooth keyboard cannot also act as a mouse on the same pairing.
