VirtuaTilt Wiki › Preloaded Profiles — Which Button Loads What
Your Wireless VirtuaTilt ships ready-to-play: a profile is already assigned to each of the 8 boot buttons, so the cabinet is ready to play right out of the box. To pick a game, hold its button while the cabinet powers on — the central LED lights in that profile's colour (see the table). Release once it boots, then pair / launch on your Quest or PC.
| Button | LED colour | Game / host | Profile |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Amber | Visual Pinball X 10.8.x + DOF — PC (USB) | VTConfig-USB-VPX-10.8.X-DOF_v1.X.json |
| 2 | Green | Pinball FX VR — Meta Quest (BT) | VTConfig-BT-FXVR_XAM_v1.X.json |
| 3 | Red | Pinball VR Classics — Meta Quest (BT) | VTConfig-BT-PinballVRClassics_v1.X.json |
| 4 | White | Star Wars Pinball VR — Meta Quest (BT) | VTConfig-BT-StarWarsPinballVR_v1.X.json |
| 5 | Blue | Steam VP games — PC (BT) | VTConfig-BT-STEAM-XInput_v1.X.json |
| 6 | Magenta | Zaccaria Pinball — PC (BT) | VTConfig-BT-STEAM-Zaccaria_v1.X.json |
| 7 | Yellow | VPX / Future Pinball — PC (BT) | VTConfig-BT-VPX-FuturePinball_v1.X.json |
| 8 | Cyan | Steam / XInput — PC (USB) | VTConfig-USB-STEAM-XInput_v1.X.json |
NOTE — the default profile is not "slot 1". If you do not hold any button at boot, the cabinet loads its default profile and the central LED stays off — this is normal. The factory default is VTConfig-USB-VPX-10.8.X-DOF_v1.X.json (Visual Pinball X 10.8.x), set in GUIConfigTool → Configuration tab. It is a separate boot state from the eight button slots above, even though it currently uses the same file as button 1.
The LED colours shown are the factory defaults — you can re-assign any slot's colour in GUIConfigTool → Profiles tab → Slot LED Colors. To change which profile sits on which button, use GUIConfigTool → Profiles tab (the live source of truth, in case a previous owner re-mapped them).
Printable card: you can download a print-ready version of this table from this wiki — download VirtuaTilt-Preloaded-Profiles-Card.pdf, then print it and keep it with your cabinet.
