VirtuaTilt Wiki › Pinball FX VR 1.10: Two-Stage Flippers
Pinball FX VR 1.10 (the Judge Dredd update) gave the tables two-stage flippers: the lower flipper and the upper flippers now have separate inputs. Profiles made for older versions lift only the lower flippers, and in the XA profiles the Green button raises the upper left flippers by itself. Use these profiles: Legend — FX VR / Meta Quest only: XA abbreviates the device name X-Arcade shown in Quest Bluetooth settings; XAM means the game's compatibility mode.
| Mode in Pinball FX VR | USB profile | Bluetooth profile | Bluetooth name |
|---|---|---|---|
| XAM | VTConfig-USB-FXVR_XAM_v1.2 or later | VTConfig-BT-FXVR_XAM_v1.1 or later | XA |
| Normal mode (Analog) | VTConfig-USB-FXVR-Analog_v1.1 or later | — (over Bluetooth use XAM) | — |
Over USB, connect the cabinet to the Quest with a USB-A → USB-C OTG adapter. Over Bluetooth, forget the old pairing on the Quest and pair again after loading the profile (see "Pairing Your VirtuaTilt with a Meta Quest").
Slot 2 (Green button): cabinets shipped before this update have the older Bluetooth XA profile in slot 2. Upload the new one to slot 2 in GUIConfigTool → Profiles tab.
The Standard Mode profiles (VTConfig-USB-FXVR, VTConfig-BT-FXVR) are no longer included: in Pinball FX VR 1.10 they can leave the flippers raised. VTConfig-BT-FXVR-Analog is no longer included either: over Bluetooth it moves only the lower flippers in Pinball FX VR 1.10. If you have it from an earlier package, use VTConfig-BT-FXVR_XAM over Bluetooth, or VTConfig-USB-FXVR-Analog over USB for the analog nudge.
